Macbeth

Macbeth is the one and only one Shakespeare play I study when I was in high school.

Although this is a few years ago, I still remember some lines of Macbeth Act Two Scene 1.

Macbeth Act Two Scene 1 (Partial)

33   Is this a dagger which I see before me,
34   The handle toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee.
35   I have thee not, and yet I see thee still.
36   Art thou not, fatal vision, sensible
37   To feeling as to sight? or art thou but
38   A dagger of the mind, a false creation,
39   Proceeding from the heat-oppressed brain?
40   I see thee yet, in form as palpable
41   As this which now I draw.
 42   Thou marshall'st me the way that I was going;
43   And such an instrument I was to use.
44   Mine eyes are made the fools o' the other senses,
45   Or else worth all the rest; I see thee still,
46   And on thy blade and dudgeon gouts of blood,
47   Which was not so before. There's no such thing:
48   It is the bloody business which informs
49   Thus to mine eyes. Now o'er the one half-world
50   Nature seems dead, and wicked dreams abuse
51   The curtain'd sleep; witchcraft celebrates
 52   Pale Hecat's off'rings; and wither'd Murder,
53   Alarum'd by his sentinel, the wolf,
54   Whose howl's his watch, thus with his stealthy pace,
55   With Tarquin's ravishing strides, towards his design
56   Moves like a ghost. Thou sure and firm-set earth,
57   Hear not my steps, which way they walk, for fear
58   Thy very stones prate of my whereabout,
59   And take the present horror from the time,
60   Which now suits with it. Whiles I threat, he lives:
61   Words to the heat of deeds too cold breath gives.
62   I go, and it is done; the bell invites me.
63   Hear it not, Duncan; for it is a knell
64   That summons thee to heaven or to hell.

A Brief History of the Fall and Decline of the Great City of Hong Kong (1)

By Hong Kong Golden Forum

1984 - 1985 Sino-British Joint Declaration, but the Hong Kong people didn’t get to decide their own future.

1992 Chris Pattern became the last governor of British Hong Kong. He made several major electoral changes and abolished all the appointed seats in Legislative Council of Hong Kong. He also lowered the minimum voting age from 21 to 18.

1992 The legislative council which was elected under Patten's governorship was dissolved upon the handover of Hong Kong to the PRC and replaced by a Provisional Legislative Council. Chris Patten was also denounced by the PRC government as the “wrongdoer who would be condemned for a thousand generations”.

1995 Urban Council Election. 32 Urban Council members were elected using single-winner voting system.
1st July 1997 The transfer of sovereignty over Hong Kong from the United Kingdom to the People's Republic of China. (Even the sky cried on that date.)

1997 The Collective Bargaining laws were abolished by the Provisional Legislative Council shortly after the transfer of sovereignty.

1997 George Soros attacked on Hong Kong dollar.

1997 The first Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Tung Chee-hwa outsourced some Hong Kong government services and the average wage of Hong Kong has been decreased.

1998 Implementation of Mother-tongue Education

QUT - My course

Next year is going to be my final QUT final year (Hopefully).
And I have six units left before meeting the graduation requirements.
They are:

ENB241
ENB333 or ENB436
BEB802
ENB350
ENB352
INB860

Apart from ENB352, I have to take the rest (5 units) in semester one and only one unit in semester.
That's kinda not balanced. I am going to arrange a meeting with the course coordinator and see if this can be changed.

Android Apps - Rock paper scissors

After couple of days learning how to write apps in eclipse. I started making my own apps called "Rock Paper Scissors". It's not like any other shinny apps in Android Market. It's just a very simple app. At the moment, I am half way through. Hopefully, I can get it done by the end of next week.
